Gabrovo Bypass
"Road III - 5004 - Gabrovo bypass from km 0+000 to km 31+000", section from km 0+000 to km 20+124.5, including a stage connection from km 0+000 to km 3+ 130.
The bypass road of Gabrovo is part of the Bulgarian Republic Road Network, a nodal point for the movement of transport flows in the North - South direction and in the Bucharest - Ruse - Dimitrovgrad – Alexandroupolis direction.
The site is divided into 3 Stages with a total length of 23,254 km. The works include rehabilitation and reconstruction of a road section with a length of 10,940 km and new construction of a road section with a length of 12,314 km.
Part of the road facilities that have been completed under the project are: Tunnel with a length of 540 m, performed according to the so-called "New Austrian method, 4 bridge facilities, 61 culverts. The construction works also included a new road junction "Chehlevtsi", reconstruction of the bridge on Yantra River, rehabilitation of 33 existing culverts and reconstruction of the "Popovtsi" road junction.
