Consulting service in connection with the design and construction of ROAD III-5004 "Gabrovo Bypass"

The Gabrovo bypass is part of the Trans-European Transport Corridor No. IX Bucharest - Ruse - Dimitrovgrad - Alexandroupolis and includes the implementation of rehabilitation, reconstruction and new construction of 5 sections, divided into the following 4 stages:

  • Stage I from km 0+000 to km 7+670, total length - 7,670 km – rehabilitation;
  • Stage II from km 7+670 to km 10+940.74, total length - 3,270 km – rehabilitation and reconstruction;
  • Stage III from km 10+940.74 to km 16+010, total length – 5,069km – new construction;
  • Stage IV from km 16+010 to km 20+124.50, total length – 4,115 km – new construction;
  • Phase connection from km 0+000 (coinciding with km 20+124.50 of the main route) to km 3+130, total length – 3,130 km – new construction.

Supervision of the design and construction of the "Struma" motorway Lot 3.1, the contractor of the project is the Road Infrastructure Agency, according to the contractual conditions of FIDIC - yellow book.

The section of the highway, included in Lot 3, for the most part of its length is located near the river Struma and passes through natural attractions such as the Kresna Gorge. The highway is 29m wide, including: 15m traffic lanes, 2 x 2 x 3.75m; average dividing strip of 3.5m; 2 emergency lanes, each 2.5m wide; 4 x 0.75m guide strips and 2 x 1.25m banquettes.
